As Toyota's largest automotive parts supplier, Denso has a massive initiative to build automated driving sensors and hardware. Dentsu Tokyo was brought in to help capture the technology at work.

We collaborated with Hideoki Productions and the Dentsu creatives to capture photos and videos of the advanced LIDAR sensors, imagers, and milliwave radar components that comprise their automated driving system.

We shot their test vehicles (specially outfitted Lexus sedans) on a test track in Detroit Michigan, as well as local highways. All while operating in completely autonomous mode.

It was an impressive glimpse of things to come.
